The best way to make individuals more conscious of the concerns and difficulties facing society is through education. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of tourists' experiences on environmental education through the resonance of the nature tourism destination brand and environmental education to visitors. The knowledge of the environment among tourists can be raised through travel and nature tourism. People's knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors regarding the environment are influenced by their experiences in the environment. The host society suffers when tourism numbers exceed an area's ecological capacity, which lowers the quality of the tourism experience. If this problem is ignored, society will face social and environmental challenges. The greatest and most efficient method for educating people and instilling a sense of responsibility in them is through environmental education. The sample size was determined by Cochran's formula of 384 people. The sample technique was convenience sampling, and the study's statistical population consisted solely of domestic tourists to Borujerd city. Expert judgments validated the research's validity, while Cronbach's alpha assessed its reliability. Through the resonance of the nature tourism destination brand and environmental education to tourists, as well as the resonance of the nature tourism brand on public environmental education, the research findings demonstrated that tourists experience has a positive and significant effect on environmental education.

The development of ecotourism is a viable strategy to preserve natural resources and cultural values in society. In addition, it empowers local communities and brings about cultural, social, and environmental sustainability. This study aims to evaluate the predictor elements of environmental knowledge and awareness of eco-tourists in the protected area of Binalood. The research method is a descriptive-analytical method. The statistical population of the study is the number of eco-tourists entering the region, based on field statistics obtained from village-heads (September 2017), which is estimated at 12,900. Finally, 210 were used as the sample size and as the basis for completing the questionnaire and analysis. The research findings, based on a single sample t-test, revealed that the real average of the two indicators of having environmental knowledge and awareness of laws and the natural environment is less than average (3). Findings on the t-test (two samples) showed that the average opinion of men on environmental knowledge indicators is higher than women and that there is a significant difference between men and women. The adjusted coefficient based on the regression test is 0.54. Obviously, the 0.54 changes in the environmental behavior of eco-tourists depend on individual and socio-economic factors. According to the results of the Pearson correlation test, there is a significant and strong relationship between the behavior and environmental attitudes of eco-tourists. In order to improve the environmental knowledge of eco-tourists, it is the researchers’ recommendation to establish visitor centers and hold training courses, seminars, etc., based on the age and sexual characteristics of the visitors. The best way to transfer the teachings is to use the means and materials of dissemination of knowledge, such as preparing brochures and short films and informing people through popular networks and social sites.

Given the rise in popularity of ecotourism, investigating its impacts on the local community is of great importance. Thus, this study aimed to analyze ecotourism’s effects on the empowerment of local communities. In this regard, based on the empowerment wheel conceptual framework (Mendoza-Ramos, 2013) a survey was conducted in Savadkuh County. The sample size was calculated to be 240 people according to Daniel's sampling formula and was accessed through the convenience-sampling method. Data were collected through a questionnaire, the validity of which was approved by a panel of experts and construct validity (AVE Index). The reliability of the questionnaire was approved by calculating Cronbach's alpha and composite reliability (CR). The data were analyzed by SPSS22 and Smart PLS software. Besides the confirmation of indicators’ homogeneity and reliability, the results of confirmatory factor analysis confirmed that local community empowerment's measurement model had five components (i.e. psychological, environmental, political, economic, and social). In addition, results revealed that the total mean score of local people empowerment was 3.1 out of 5. The highest mean scores were for the psychological (3.35) and environmental (3.22) dimensions of empowerment, respectively. The lowest mean scores were for the political (2.89) and economic (2.96) dimensions of empowerment, respectively. The social empowerment dimension (3.10) was almost at a moderate level. Accordingly, it is recommended to improve the political and economic empowerment of Savadkuh County’s local people through participatory approaches and facilitation techniques.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the semantic system of ecotourism resort owners about the effects of Coronavirus on the environment and nature to show how they understand, interpret and evaluate this phenomenon and its consequences. 12 owners of ecotourism resorts in Mazandaran province participated in this study. After discovering the basic concepts and major categories in the axial coding stage, the process of connecting the categories was done based on their properties. The environmental effects of Coronavirus as a core category, major categories under the headings of consumption, environmental attitudes, barriers, and solutions/strategies were revealed as major categories. Food consumption (packaged and home-made), consumption of hygienic chemicals, consumption of natural sources (water, energy) under the category of consumption, attitudes towards littering, biodiversity conservation, environmental pollution under the category of attitudes towards the environment, legal, individual and structural barriers were placed under the category of barriers to pro-environmental behaviors and creating opportunities for support, increasing environmental awareness and attracting public participation under the category of solutions/strategies. According to the respondents, the emergence of Coronavirus has increased littering in nature and due to its social fear, the volume of new waste (masks and gloves) has increased; however, the positive effects such as biodiversity conservation and reduction of air pollutants due to reduced traffic would be transient and temporary.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of Environmental education programs on enviro-nmental behavior of Sorkhe Hesar Forest Park visitors which is designed according to Systematic educational approach and tries to offer a instructional design model for environmental education. The main issue of this study is social and environmental behavior of visitors in Sorkhe Hesar Forest Park. Although this Forest Park has rich biodiversity and natural resources, it has many problems due to lack of suitable utilization. The study sample is the citizens of district 13 of Tehran who are more than 284074 individuals; and finally according to data and Cochran formula, sample size became 308 ones. Effectiveness of this model was checked through one-sample t-test and the impact of the course was checked with pre-test and post-test. In order to compare the mean of pre-test and post-test, Mann-Whitney nonparametric test was done. The result showed that participants’ satisfaction was high and it means that the design model was acceptable. The difference in means of variables in pre-test and post-test, shows the effectiveness of the course on variables.

In recent years, due to destruction and depletion of the special natural resources and for the prevention of excessive depletions and conservation of the present resources, most of the communities are tended to the training methods which are necessary for sustainable conservation. So, the objective of this study is evaluating environmental considerations in the informal trainings which are provided for eco-tour leaders of Guilan and assessing their conformity with the environmental standards and finally measuring the effectiveness of trainings and their effect on eco-tour leaders. The target population was the eco-tour leaders of Guilan which were 50 people. Initially, a questionnaire was prepared on the base of environmental content of training courses for data collection. The prepared questionnaire was included 30 questions which were related to before and after training courses. Then data were analyzed using the statistical methods. Results showed that the content of training, regarding to the existence of environmental knowledge, is acceptable to some extent, but the most weaknesses of the eco-tour leaders were the less information about the environmental regulations and laws after training courses. Finally, according to the education and age level of eco-tour leaders and prospering presence and participation of women in the field of tourism and training contents, it become possible that more specialized concepts and laws would be presented in the training courses which led the increase of the courses feedback and improving the tourism and ecotourism industry in the short term.
