The aim of the present research is to offer a causal model of the environmental behavior based on‌ parenting styles and interactive role of identity processing styles among high school girls in Darab. For this purpose , among 13480 high school girls studying in grade 2 in 2015-2016 in Darab , about 375 of high school girls were selected as the research sample through relatively stratified sampling. Measurement tools were Schiffer's parenting questionnaire (1965), Berzonsky's identity processing style questionnaire (1979) ‌and Emamgholi's environental behavior questionnaire (2011). In this research descriptive and inductive statistical methods such as correlative and route analysis were used to analyze the hypotheses. The research findings showed that the parenting styles through identity processing styles had an indirect and meaningful effect on the environmental behavior, and the most to the‌ least indirect effect on the environmental behavior was related to the dictatorial , decisive, indifferent, and neglectful parenting respectively through identity processing styles. Also, ‌informational and normative identity had an indirect and positive effect and‌ bewildered-avoiding identity had a negative and‌ meaningful effect on the environmental behavior. Based on the findings of this research, parenting styles and identity processing styles express 41% of changes in the environmental behavior.

Global warming and climate changes caused by human activities is one of the major environmental problems which has attracted the attention of many scientific and political circles of the world in the last two decades. The research with the subject of Factors associated with environmental behavior in the urban environment has been done. The statistical population of this research were 1,614,626 Karaj citizens with 15 to 75 year old that 384 individuals were selected by using of cluster random sampling by using of Cochran formula. The research is of survey type and questionnaire is the tool of data collecting. The questionnaire Validity is of formal type and its reliability is measured using Cronbach's alpha. The results show that there is a significant relationship between the variables of education, awareness of climate changes, general knowledge about climate changes, the perception of the risk of climate changes, attitudes towards climate changes and pro-environmental behavior. Also, there is a significant difference in pro-environmental behavior between women and men. Results of regression analysis show that, according to the adjusted coefficient of determination variables in the regression equation, 29% of the variance of the dependent variable is determined by the independent variables; and perception of the risk of climate changes, has the greatest overall impact on the pro-environmental behavior.

<span>This research seeks to explain the educational needs of citizens based on the main purpose of "identifying and prioritizing the educational needs of people in Tehran towards earthquake. This research is of survey type and for determining of educational needs the feasibility study method has been used based on the three-dimensional model of Kaufman, Gorican and Johnson. The statistical population of the study is the population of Tehran city (based on the statistics of 2006), amount to 7707520. Out of them, 750 people have been selected as a sample including 700 citizens in classified random method from five regions of the North, South, East and West and also the Center of Tehran and 50 experts and staffs in a non-probable purposeful method for the research. Referring to the library sources and searching in internet websites related to the civil defense, researchers extracted a relatively full list of the examples of civil defense to be prepared against the earthquake in Tehran city. Using the self-made questionnaire in Likert scale (four-options), the necessary data from the statistical samples were collected. The data analysis for feasibility study, comparing the views among the groups and prioritization of the needs, has been performed; using SPSS software and Freedman test. The general prioritization among the three mentioned sections has specified that the educational needs related to skills of vulnerability reduction before the occurrence of earthquake is in the first priority. In addition, comparison of the educational needs by population specifications (gender, group, rate of education and area of residency) in this research shows that the mentioned specifications do not have any impact on individuals’ educational needs</span>

Responsible-sustainable consumption is one of the important aspects of sustainable development which depends on achieving long-term economic growth consistent with environmental and social needs. In fact, recent definitions of sustainability on the basis of the “triple bottom line” concept (environment, society and economic), represents the interrelation of economic, social and environmental factors. Environmental literacy can be considered as one of the immediate determinants of responsible-sustainable consumption. Present study aims to investigate the relationship between Environmental literacy and responsible-sustainable consumption. The population of this study is 15-64 year-old citizens of Urmia and the statistic sample is 516 persons, examined using the survey method and cluster sampling. The results show that there is a significant positive relationship between Environ-mental literacy and its aspects with responsible- sustainable consumption. Also, multiple regression results show that 26% of the variance in responsible-sustainable consumption are determined by environmental attitudes and behaviors (the aspects of Environmental literacy).

Groundwater resources are strategic resources and as Iran is facing a lack of water sources for exploitation, the importance of protecting groundwater resources -which are more immune to drought and pollution compared to surface water resources- has doubled. In the current situation, where most of the aquifers of the country are facing a dramatic drop of water levels, it needs especial consideration. Protection of water resources is an important step in the point of view of sustainable development. However, sustainable development is not possible without high participation of people and stakeholders. Thus, the aim of the present study is the multifactor analysis of the methods of improving the general awareness of the stakeholders for their active presence in the process of implementation of effective groundwater management methods in Kerman-Baghein region. The criteria are chosen from the sustainable development literature and the options are prioritized with multi-criteria decision making in compromise programing. The criteria were: increasing the role of the private sector to invest on advertising, educational programs, level of water saving, entrepreneurship , matching the education method with traditions and the public opinion on protection of water resources, period of implementation of the strategy, improving the role of women in water resource protection process, and flexibility. Using the criteria, among the 10 options of the study, investment on films and animations focused on the subject of water resources and the importance of the environment, creation of a target group of important and influential locals, and finally empowering the NGOs activities , were the preferred options of the study.

The idea of sustainable development emerged from environmental concerns and criticism of economic and industrial development and its ideal is to preserve resources for all generations with meeting the needs of the present generation. Sustainable development requires extensive changes in the lives of communities at all levels. This change requires the participation of citizens and civil society and people awareness and education about sustainable development is its prerequisite. Education is the infrastructure of development of our modern world and without accessibility to education and creating general awareness in humans, sustainable development will not exceed a superficial and vulgar slogan. The purpose of this research using descriptive document analysis is to explain and analyze the impact of education and especially environmental education on sustainable development. The findings suggest that a sustainable and comprehensive development will be via human resources development and the prerequisite of the occurrence and continuation of any development, is investment in human resources through education and especially environmental education which is a central core and pillar of any society. Considering that education is one of the most influential factors affecting the sustainable development of each country, wide, continuous, comprehensive and inclusive measures in order to increase environmental awareness is necessary. Economic view to the issue of education from the perspective of investment, according to World Bank standards and explaining its role in sustainable development, is the innovation of this paper. <br /><br />

Since Environmental problems are increasing day by day, environment protection needs pro-environmental behavior. This research was aimed to study the environmental behavior of Noorabad Mamasani's citizens and its relationship with socio-economic status and sense of social responsibility. The Statistics society was 15 years and older residents of Noorabad Mamasani; from which 400 people were determined based on Lin Sampling Table (1976) as sample size and were selected by classified-multi stage random sampling method. The structured questionnaire, which provided via the scale of environmental attitude (Salehi Omran & Aghamohamadi, 2008) and the scale of social responsibility sense(Haghighatian and Omidi, 2008) and environmental behavior (Novah & Forootan Kia, 2011), was used as the research tool. The findings showed that the dependent variable (environmental behavior) has a significant and meaningful relationship with the variables of social responsibility and environmental attitude (99%) and socioeconomic status (95%). The results showed that attitudes and beliefs of individuals, which are the indictor of their socialization conditions, have an important role in the environmental behaviors.
