The purpose of this study is to provide an optimal educational model to improve the general and specialized knowledge of Tehran citizens regarding biodiversity. In the first step, a researcher-made questionnaire was used to assess the level of citizens' awareness. Then, using the opinions of experts, various educational methods were weighed and evaluated. For this purpose, two target levels were designed as expected scenarios. Digest and Ant (ACA) algorithms were used to accurately evaluate and determine the optimal route with the lowest time and lowest cost. The results showed that women's general knowledge about biodiversity was higher than men’s and vice versa about specialized knowledge. On the other hand, there was a significant positive relationship between biodiversity knowledge and education level. Also, to achieve the first level goal, the "Combined educational model" with a weight of 1.196, and the educational model "Virtual educational model" with a weight of 0.608 were evaluated as the most appropriate and inappropriate educational model for transferring general knowledge to citizens, respectively. Regarding the purpose of the second level, the method of "face-to-face training" with a final weight of 64 and "preparation and distribution of training packages" with a weight of 43 had the highest score. Finally, the optimal path for raising the level of specialized knowledge of citizens has a weight of 161, which includes such things as achieving a good level of general knowledge, creating an educational environment, supporting the formation of environmental NGOs, incentives, needs assessment, and review.

Green entrepreneurship, with its positive effects on the environment, contributes significantly to sustainable economic development. The present study was conducted with the aim of a systematic review of the concept of green entrepreneurship in the higher education system. This qualitative research was conducted using the seven-step method of Sandlovski and Barroso (2007). The meta-composite team consisted of two experts in curriculum planning, one expert in educational psychology, one knowledgeable in the field of environment, and one person proficient in the meta-composite research method. 13 related research sources were the basis of the analysis. The validity of the data was confirmed by using the techniques of reliability, transferability, and alignment of data, and the reliability of the data was also confirmed by the accurate guidance of the flow of information collection and alignment of the researchers. Data analysis was done using the thematic analysis method. Based on the results, the concept of green entrepreneurship includes the themes of creativity and mental initiative, adaptation to the environment, environmental innovation, value creation, identifying green opportunities, reducing natural hazards, creating sustainable development, and risk-taking. A proper understanding of the above-mentioned factors helps in the development of university educational programs and the culturalization of environmental protection.

The purpose of this study was to examine the compatibility of the intended, implemented, and acquired curriculum in the humanities and environment course. This research used a simultaneous mixed method (using both quantitative and qualitative techniques in a single study). The population of the study consisted of all 896 students of grade 11 in 1400-1399 academic years in Ghaen. In the qualitative part of the study, grade 11 teachers were also added to the population. Using Morgan's table, 265 students were selected as a sample. Based on cluster random sampling, a number of 11th-grade students from each school were selected. In the qualitative part, purposeful sampling was used to select only those who had more than five years of teaching experience. The data collection tools were a researcher-made questionnaire and a semi-structured interview. The data was analyzed by a one-sample t-test. The results revealed that there is a statistical correlation between the intended and implemented curriculum. There is also a relationship between the intended and acquired curriculum. According to the findings of the research, it can be said that despite the change in the educational approach from face-to-face to virtual and no change in the curriculum, The teachers as the implementers of the curriculum, had been able to take steps toward the adaptation of the implemented and acquired curriculum with the intended curriculum and were successful in this matter.

This paper investigates the effects of environmental education based on Connectivisim Theory on sixth elementary school graders’ environmental learning concepts and their contact with nature. The methodology used in this paper is quasi-experimental with pretest, posttest and control group. Using random cluster sampling method, a total of 55 female sixth graders from Kermanshah Third Education District in 93-94 academic year were selected and randomly assigned to experiment and control groups. The variables were measured using a learning verified test and the standard scale was in contact with nature by Nisbett et al (2009). Validity of measurement tools was confirmed by five experts and reliability of measurement tools was ruled admissible, using re-test and calculating correlation coefficient while the reliability of questionnaires was confirmed by Cronbach Alpha given internal consistency coefficient of data. Analysis of data using covariance analysis given the auxiliary variables (pretest) suggests that there is a significant difference between Connectivisim-based education and the conventional educational methods in schools in terms of learning environmental concepts (sig=0.008) and contact with nature (sig=0.000) which indicates the Connectivisim method, is more effective.

The main purpose of this study was to investigate the use of soft educational technologies in teaching environmental issues in the first to the third grade of elementary science textbooks of Iran and Russia. This study is a descriptive analysis of the content. The statistical population of the study is all the first, second, and third-grade textbooks of sciences in Iran and the world around us in Russia. The statistical sample included environmental issues in the first, second, and third-grade elementary science textbooks of Iran and Russia. The research tool was a researcher-made checklist made by soft educational technology and an environmental health checklist from Yale University. The results showed that allegory and role-playing hadn't used at all to teach environmental issues in Iran. Questions and answers Iran 31.95, Russia 31.64)and comparisons of objects, the discovery of similarities and differences, and conclusions )Iran 20.61, Russia 17.72) have been widely used in both countries. In Iran, more emphasis has been placed on solving problems and carrying out projects(13.40), and more emphasis has been placed on the use of daily life activities(16.45) in teaching in Russia. The results also showed that the use of soft educational technology to teach environmental issues was given more significance in the third grade of an elementary school in both of the countries. Soft technology has been used less in the first grade of the elementary school of Iran but in the second grade of the elementary school of Russia.

The pro-environmental behavior is one of the most effective factors for protecting the environment which is heavily depending on the environmental awareness of citizens. This study explored the effect of “environmental awareness” on “attitude” and “environmental behaviors” of Qom university female students based on Bamberg and Möser’s Theory about the factors affecting environmental behaviors. Survey research method was adopted and the data collection instrument was questionnaire. In the current study, 370 participants were selected using Cochrane formula for categorical sampling. The descriptive results showed most of the students’ (57.9 %) environmental awareness seem to be at medium level. The inferential results indicated that, there was a significant relationship between the “environmental awareness“, “environmental attitude“, “tendency for environmental behavior“ and “pro-environmental behaviors“ while no significant relationship between the awareness resources and environmental awareness was observed. “Environmental awareness” directly, indirectly and generally exerts remarkable influence on environmental behavior. The results of regression analysis showed that the three remaining independent variables explain only 20.6 % of the variance of the dependent variable. In total, the findings of the present study confirmed the theoretical framework based on which the research model was planned. For improving pro-environmental behaviors, awareness resources must be reinforced; all state and private organizations and institutes as well as families must help the process of “environmental socialization”, and education quality must be enhanced.

The primary purpose of the study was to determine the factors affecting the environmental behavior of farmers cucumber production systems of Tehran, Iran. The research framework was developed based on the farm health model for assessing the environmental behaviors of farmers in conversation with the planned behavior model for exploring the factors influencing on their environmental behavior. A survey with a sample of 124 operators selected by clustering sampling was undertaken in Tehran province. Findings revealed that the growers of cucumber greenhouse implemented the measures of integrated soil, plant nutrient, and pest management. Stepwise regression analysis was used to determine the influence of exogenous factors, farm and farmer characteristics upon the environmental behavior of 124 cucumber growers. Analyses revealed that environmental behaviors were influenced by external factors (extension services) as well as the age, mechanization level, social participation; and the feasibility of technologies. However, impacts of farmer characteristics including attitude and economic condition on EB of cucumbers growers were significant respectively. Finally, consideration of these variables as determinant factors in a ‘targeted policy approach’ involving two suggestions is recommended to promote the environmental behavior of farmers.

Education and learning is an important pillar of sustainable development. Information literacy can help farmers to access and use the information for sustainable agriculture. The present study aimed to assess the information literacy of farmers and related factors in the Torogh region of Mashhad County. The descriptive-correlation research method was used and 176 farmers were examined through a simple random sampling method. The data collection tool was a questionnaire which its formal validity confirmed by the face validity of faculty members of the Department of Library Science of Ferdosi University of Mashhad and Department of Agricultural Extension and Education of Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was calculated for questionnaire reliability (α=0.79). The results showed that the information literacy of farmers can be assessed at a medium level. Also, information literacy is independent of age, some pieces of agricultural land and the annual income of farmers. But there is a significant and negative correlation between total information literacy and agricultural history. Among the five dimensions of information literacy, studied farmers have a better condition in "adhere to the ethical and legal principles of the use of information". On the contrary, they are weakest in "achieving the required information efficiently and efficiently". This is suggested that necessary training courses for farmers be provided to enhance their capabilities in access and use of agricultural information.

The development of ecotourism is a viable strategy to preserve natural resources and cultural values in society. In addition, it empowers local communities and brings about cultural, social, and environmental sustainability. This study aims to evaluate the predictor elements of environmental knowledge and awareness of eco-tourists in the protected area of Binalood. The research method is a descriptive-analytical method. The statistical population of the study is the number of eco-tourists entering the region, based on field statistics obtained from village-heads (September 2017), which is estimated at 12,900. Finally, 210 were used as the sample size and as the basis for completing the questionnaire and analysis. The research findings, based on a single sample t-test, revealed that the real average of the two indicators of having environmental knowledge and awareness of laws and the natural environment is less than average (3). Findings on the t-test (two samples) showed that the average opinion of men on environmental knowledge indicators is higher than women and that there is a significant difference between men and women. The adjusted coefficient based on the regression test is 0.54. Obviously, the 0.54 changes in the environmental behavior of eco-tourists depend on individual and socio-economic factors. According to the results of the Pearson correlation test, there is a significant and strong relationship between the behavior and environmental attitudes of eco-tourists. In order to improve the environmental knowledge of eco-tourists, it is the researchers’ recommendation to establish visitor centers and hold training courses, seminars, etc., based on the age and sexual characteristics of the visitors. The best way to transfer the teachings is to use the means and materials of dissemination of knowledge, such as preparing brochures and short films and informing people through popular networks and social sites.

This research is done to investigate the effect of environmental education on improvement of elementary school students’ attitude about animal rights by Semi experimental method. The statistical population was including the elementary school students, boys and girls of a public school in the city Bardaskan.Sixty girls and sixty boys from fourth, fifth and sixth grades were selected through a simple random method, then the selected samples were divided into two experimental and control groups of 30 students. At first a pretest was given to both groups. After two weeks of pretest, at the end of the training sessions of both experimental and control groups a post test was applied. The related data of pretest and posttest were collected by a questionnaire based on attitude towards animal rights. The reliability coefficient of the questionnaire was calculated through Cronbach alpha (0/64). The Ancova covariance analysis test was used for analyzing the information. The test results showed that presenting active and purposeful education to students has a significant effect on students attitude improvement towards animal rights and also there is no significant difference between male and female students' responses (sig = 0.38).
