Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the impact of urban environmental education on the valuation  and environmental behavior of middle school female students in District 5 of Isfahan province. Type of research is based on the objectives of applied researches. The research method was semi-experimental or pre-post test and control group. To achieve this goal, from junior schools in district 5 of  Isfahan with Multistage random cluster  sampling, two 25-member classes  in two secondary schools, one as a control group and another as  experimental group were selected , And then for ten sessions (each session 75 minutes), the experimental group were trained under urban environmental education. The results of research showed that the education of the urban environment on student behavior in the experimental group in three fields green space conservation, waste management and energy management is obviously effective. also, the urban environment education on the valuation of students in the experimental group in two topics of green space protection and energy management is obviously effective and on the valuation of students of experimental group in the field of waste management is ineffective.
