The role of the visual media of intangible geography on the levels of cognitive and emotional learning in students

Abstract

The importance of geography is due to the description of the world around us although most of the subjects of it are intangible for the students, So one of the ways to solve this problem is using information technology to improve geography and its teaching and learning. The present study is conducted by the aim of indicating the determinative role of visual media of intangible Geographic phenomena on learning level of cognitive and emotional domain in third- year girl students of secondary schools of Kermanshah city. The study was conducted in an experimental method. The population was all the third-year girl students of secondary school. 44 subjects were selected by multi-cluster random sampling (22 experimental group, and 22 control group). collecting data was done by using two course and emotional development questionnaire. The data was analyzed by multi -variance analyzing test and Covariance test. The finding showed that there is a meaningful difference between the experimental group and the control group (p=0.001).
