The purpose of this study is to analyze environmental education in the document of fundamental transformation of education and its validation from the perspective of experts. The research method of the first part is qualitative inductive content analysis. The analytical community was document of fundamental change in education and theoretical foundations document of fundamental change. The research method in the second part is the Delphi method. The study population of this section was the faculty members of the universities of educational sciences. Finally ten people were purposefully selected according to their works in the two fields of environmental education and the document of fundamental change and their interest in participating in the study.Based on the findings of thematic analysis, environmental education in the document of fundamental change in education has been considered from both theoretical and practical. In the theoretical field, the universal theme identified is the epistemological revival of environmental metaphysics with three pre-organizing themes central monotheism (with 9 basic themes), central resurrection with (with 3 basic themes) and human-centered (with 5 basic themes). In the practical field, the enumerated thematic theme is environmental competencies that have been considered with three themes: pre-organizing cognitive dimension (with 6 basic themes), emotional (with three basic themes) and behavioral (with 13 basic themes). The analysis of the data obtained from the judgment of the experts indicates that the experts confirmed the enumerated themes in both theoretical and practical dimensions. However, in the theoretical part, the most agreement of experts is on the themes of human-centered dimension and in the practical part, the most agreement is on the themes of cognitive dimension.

In today's world, the concept of education has changed a lot and hence it is necessary to change the process of educational activities. The increasing emergence of environmental issues and the meagerness of understanding in respect to the environmental education in society has led to the necessity for the effective environmental education in the academic environments. This research intends to find a more efficient model for students to achieve simultaneous-learning and memorizing of the carbon cycle among the existing educational approaches. Thus, by considering the importance of thinking in the educational process, the research has applied explanatory models and Bybee five-step. They are compared on learning-memorizing the carbon cycle in the ninth year Experimental Science textbook. This research has been done by quasi-experimental method. The sample is 60 of ninth grade female students of one of the public schools of Mallard Education who was divided into two groups. Multi-stage cluster sampling method was used to select them. The data collection tool was a researcher-made test whose validity and reliability were confirmed. Additionally, the normality of the distribution of scores was measured using Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Moreover, independent and dependent group t-tests were used to test the research hypotheses. Based on the results, it was found that both teaching models have increased learning and retention in learners, but the educational design based on Bybee five-step model has been significantly more effective on learners' retention than the explanatory model.

The present study implemented with the aim of presenting a model of the role of the education system in sustainable development with the Islamic-Iranian model of progress approach. This is both an applied research and a mixed exploratory study (qualitative and quantitative). The research method in the qualitative part was content analysis and in the quantitative part was descriptive survey. Participants in the quality section included 38 education system experts, officials from the UNESCO National Commission's Education Unit and the Higher Education Council, who were selected for interview by purposive sampling method. The statistical population consisted 440 managers, official experts and experts of the General Department of Education in Tehran, 205 of whom were selected by stratified random sampling according to their organizational positions as our research sample. The data gathering tool was a semi-structured interview in the qualitative part and a researcher-made questionnaire in the quantitative part. Credibility criteria were considered to ensure the quality of qualitative findings. In this way, the feedback of the participants in the research was applied. Also, in order to validate the findings, the triangulation in investigator method was used. In the quantitative part, the face and content and construct validities of the questionnaire were checked and confirmed and the reliability was also confirmed by using Cronbach's alpha coefficient so that the reliability of all major variables was greater than 0.70. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistical tests including confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The results showed that there were 38 components that has role in the education system in sustainable development with the approach of the Iranian Islamic model of progress. Its 29 components in four cultural, social, environmental and economic dimensions were extracted from the content analysis of the interviews and 9 components were obtained from the content analysis of the document of fundamental change in education. The result of studying structural equations also showed a significant relationship among the dimensions of the model.

The purpose of this applied research was to investigate the effect of flipped classroom education on the water literacy of third-grade elementary students. This research is a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group and the statistical population included third-grade students of one of the girls' schools in Khomein in the academic year 2021-2022. In order to select the sample of this study, 60 students were selected by the available sampling method and randomly divided into 2 groups (one experimental group and one control group) of 30 people. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire on water literacy, the reliability of which was evaluated by calculating Cronbach's alpha coefficient, and its content validity was evaluated by Lavache method. Analysis of covariance was used to analyze the data. Findings showed that flipped classroom education had a positive and significant effect on water literacy of third-grade elementary students and its cognitive, attitudinal, and behavioral dimensions (at the level of 0.01). Based on the findings, it was concluded that flipped classroom can be one of the effective approaches to education to improve students' water literacy.

Ecological citizenship as an emerging type of citizenship means specific human responsibilities to protect the environment in a way beyond limited personal interests and thoughts. This study aims to analyze the content of the level of attention to the components of ecological citizen education in social studies textbooks in junior high school. To achieve this goal, the content analysis method has been used. Descriptive statistical methods such as frequency and percentage were employed to analyze the data. Frequency charts were used to present the data. Findings showed that in the social education textbooks of junior high school, a total of 63 cases have been paid to the education of ecological citizens, of which, 21 cases (33.33%) were related to Ecological knowledge, 19 cases (30.15%) were related to Ecological beliefs and attitudes, and 23 cases (36.50%) were related to Ecological behavior. The lowest frequency of prepending to ecological knowledge was in the 7th and 8th grades of junior high school (0.00). The highest frequency related to personal environmental behaviors was in the 7th grade of junior high school (44.44%), and for the sense of responsibility towards nature and its elements, the highest frequency was in the 9th grade of junior high school (44.44%). Based on these findings, many components in all aspects of ecological citizen education have been neglected. Given the existing crises in the field of human ecology and the effective role of curricula in resolving these crises, it is suggested that ecological education be given more attention by educational officials and policymakers.

To achieve sustainable development, many organizations are planning to employ environmental management systems Therefore, the establishment of management systems such as environmental management systems and green human resources can play a significant role in achieving this goal. This research aims to present a Green Human Resource Model (GHRM) and to define the indicators and components of HRM. At first, using the Delphi method, a rough questionnaire has been developed and then, using a snowball sampling method, the data was collected through semi-structured interviews with human resources experts including management and environmental science professors and human resources specialists in Mashhad’s municipality. After the analysis of the recorded interviews, the green HRM components were identified. In the quantitative phase, a questionnaire was developed using the data collected from the Delphi steps and gathered from the experts. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were tested using the construct validity method. Utilizing the Cochran formula, 384 municipality staffs take part in the study. Applying structural equations and using the STATA software, the hypotheses were checked the results are as follow: out of eight indicators regarding HRM model, education development and employees’ participation enhancement were not statistically significant. However, the other 6 indicators influenced Mashhad’s municipality environmental performances. According to the estimated standard coefficients, the green development index and green organizational culture development have had the most impact on Mashhad municipality’s environmental performance. The other important factors include green monitoring and evaluation indices, managerial relationships development, development of rewards and compensation for green services and finally, the green choice development. These indicators have had the highest impact on environmental performance, respectively.

This study was conducted to identify and prioritize the challenges and Solutions of pro-environmental behavior of 120 greenhouse cucumber growers in Tarand district through Delphi technique during two rounds. Findings showed that the overuse of chemical inputs was recognized as the most important pro-environmental behavior challenge. Furthermore, using disposable plastic coatings, improper waste management, and using diesel were the important pro-environmental challenges, respectively. In addition, the results showed that to address these challenges, first the adverse impacts of using chemical inputs must be explained; Eco-friendly alternative inputs should be introduced; the separation, recycling and proper disposal of waste should be trained and encouraged; and finally the use of solar and other clean types of energy need to be trained and encouraged. Next, after raising the level of environmental awareness of farmers, in order to implement the training provided, financial and credit support; access to Eco-friendly inputs, equipment and technologies; and the development of environmental laws should be the focus of politicians and those who are in charge.
