آموزش محیط‌زیست یکی از اقدامات جدی و ضروری کشورها برای افرایش دانش، مهارت شهروندان و راهی مؤثر برای بهبود و ارتقای رابطه انسان با محیط زندگی پیرامون است.با توجه به سودمندی و ضرورت بهره‌مندی از تجارب موفق کشورها به‌عنوان یکی از عناصر اصلی آموزش محیط‌زیست هدف مقاله حاضر مطالعه موردی آموزش محیط‌زیست در استرالیا است. روش مورداستفاده پژوهـش توصیفـی - تحلیلـی و شیوه گردآوری داده‌ها مطالعه اسـنادی اسـت. یافته‌های پژوهش بیانگر اولویت‌های استراتژیک و اهداف منتخب زیست‌محیطی و توسعه پایدار کشور استرالیا با تأکید بر زندگی پایدار و نقش آموزش برای آینده پایدار شامل رهبری، ترویج، حمایت و پیشبرد آموزش محیط‌زیستی و پایدار در استرالیا و به‌صورت خاص فعالیت‌های انجمن آموزش محیط‌زیست استرالیا تا سال 2025 و پروژه‌های انجام‌شده این کشور، تا سال 2022 است. این اهداف بر اهمیت تأمین نیازهای مالی برای پروژه‌های محیط‌زیست از یک‌سو و همچنین حمایت از مربیان و معلمان حوزه محیط‌زیست و گسترش ارتباطات در سطح ملی و منطقه‌ای و ارتباط با دیگر کشورهای جهان از سوی دیگر متمرکز است. نتایج پژوهش حاضر بر اساس الگو و مدل‌های مستخرج، همسان‌سازی و اجرا بر اساس ویژگی‌های اجتماعی، اقتصادی، روان‌شناختی و محیطی ایران را امکان‌پذیر می‌سازد.

Then it can be stated that humans are not the only active agents in the environment but that instead we need to study the dynamic relationship between human and non-human agencies. The second concept, Development, is a bridge between colonialism and non-human agency, which entails the process of changing an environment in course of monopolizing certain products in a colonized country. Such changes usually have negative effects on the natives’ lives, such as losing their jobs, homes and impoverishment. This then leads to their displacement, seeking a new area where they can find new resources to survive and build their lives around. This is then a chained set of events as explained in the article, from the promise of a development that is in truth monopolizing one or more products, to the displacement of the natives from their homes and their struggle to survive.
