Today, many consumers advocate green products to reduce the effect of their consumption practices on the environment For this reason, companies have tried to produce green products, but many of the actions of companies in the field of green product production are misleading and deceptive, which is called greenwashing. The present study aimed to investigate the effect of understanding greenwashing, attitudes, and beliefs on green purchase intention among environmentalists. The population included the environmentalists in Kerman, to whom a standard electronic questionnaire was sent for data collection. Finally, 384 questionnaires were collected and analyzed. The findings indicated that the understanding of greenwashing has a positive effect on the confusion of green consumption and an increase in perceived risk. However, it can reduce the perceived benefit, satisfaction, and loyalty. In addition, the attitude and beliefs of the environmentalists have a positive effect on the perceived benefit, satisfaction, and loyalty. If environmentalists have a positive attitude toward green products, there will be less confusion about consuming green products.

Architectural engineering is an interdisciplinary course. It has a strict relation with civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering. This study focuses on the status of sustainability in two different syllabuses of the architecture bachelor’s courses in Iran. Content analysis approach was applied along with conceptual and rational methods for the analysis of mentioned syllabuses by using Maxqda software. In the first stage, conceptual analysis was performed by using some codes related to social, economic, and environmental sustainability. In the second stage, the architecture expert panel compared sustainability criteria and their education in two syllabuses as a rational content analysis. The results of the research indicated a significant difference between the former and the present architectural engineering syllabuses: Conceptual content analysis proved that environmental implications in the new syllabus were decreased in comparison to the former syllabus. Conceptual content analysis also indicated that cultural-social and economic codes in the new syllabus increased considerably. The rational content analysis demonstrated that cultural-social implication decreased in the new syllabus, while environmental and economic values were emphasized in the new syllabus compared to the former one. Finally, it was concluded that the application of tangible design methods for sustainable architecture education, integration of quantitative and qualitative design criteria, and sustainable integrated design approaches should be added to the syllabuses of architectural engineering education.

This study was conducted to identify the components of sustainable education. The research method is blended exploratory that has been done sequentially in two qualitative and quantitative sections. In the qualitative section, the components of sustainable education were identified by semi-structured interviews with 11 university professionals selected through purposeful sampling. To validate qualitative findings, participant review strategies and reviewers' strategies have been used. In the quantitative section in the framework of descriptive-survey research method and researcher-made questionnaire, 262 faculty members and students from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad were selected by stratified sampling method. The validity of the tool was confirmed by the experts, and its reliability was calculated by the inconsistency rate. For data analysis, content analysis technic has been used in the qualitative section and in the quantitative section hierarchical process method has been used. The findings show that from the perspective of faculty members and students of Ferdowsi University, the components of sustainable education in terms of importance in priority order are: integration of sustainability concepts into learning process with relative weight of 0.075, To learn learning and apply an interdisciplinary approach with weight of 0.046, Applying innovative strategies in the learning process with weight of 0.034, Critical thinking with weight of 0.031, Internationalization of education with weight of 0.018.
